Head yellow, the frons with brownish bar ; antenna' brownish, yellow at base and white at tips; thorax grey -brown; pectus and legs white, the fore femora tinged with crimson above; abdomen crimson, the extremity and ventral surface white. Fore wing grey- brown torcosta before the midffle and thence with sinuous outer edge to termen at submedian fold; some yellow at base of inner margin ; the apical half of wing semihyaline yellow with a large round sub- apical brown patch tinged with purple-grey and edged with dark brown from just below the costa, on winch there is a crimson streak, to just above vein 1. its edges slightly waved. Hind wing yellow tinged with crimson and with a brownish patch on terminal area from vein 3 to below vein 2 ; cilia yellow ; the underside white with the brown patch on terminal area small. Hab.
